Shipping & Returns

In most cases glasses will arrive either on-site or at an off-site dispensary within 10 business days. Delays are usually caused by missing information on the order form.

Returns Policy

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund.  We cannot accept returns for any item received after 30 days of the purchase date.  Backordered items can be returned within 30 days of shipping date.  We must be notified of all returns within 30 days of order.  SlateBelt Safety reserves the right to inspect all returned items. If items are not returned in resellable condition or with original packaging, credit will not be issued. To receive your 100% refund, you must call our Customer Service Department for your Return Authorization Number before returning items: 1-888-642-0001. We will not accept items returned without Authorization. Because Fire Extinguishers are classified as a Hazardous Materials, you must have a UPS HazMat account to return a fire extinguisher.

We are not responsible for:

  • Defective items not reported to SlateBelt Safety within 30 days of order.
  • Items returned to our warehouses without a Return Authorization Number
  • Items returned to SlateBelt Safety without contacting SlateBelt Safety prior to the return.

Items returned without original packaging  all documents & instruction booklets that were included with original shipment

Defective Items: Any defective items must be reported to SlateBelt Safety within 30 days of order. As a distributor and not a manufacturer, SlateBelt Safety has no control over certain aspects of product quality. There are items that may have a natural flaw or may have a service life less than what may be expected; natural flaws and failure to meet individual expectations are not considered defects. SlateBelt Safety will not be liable for any defective items NOT reported within the 30-day policy. Any guarantee that is offered by the product manufacturer in the form of a label or similar marking on the product must be addressed by contacting the manufacturer directly.  Normal wear and tear of an item does not constitute defectiveness.  Acceptance of returns on any item said to be defective will be made at the discretion of SlateBelt Safety. SlateBelt Safety assumes no product liability. Buyer assumes all risk pertaining to use and application of any purchase.

Custom Orders: Any custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Special Orders:  Periodically we may be able to supply for a customer an item that is not in our normal inventory and does not appear on our website.  These items are non-refundable and non-returnable.
